+Red and inconsistent skin tone

CAUSES

While other factors like hormonal triggers and aging are causes of pigmentation and hyper pigmentation, sun exposure is still the main cause of the excess production of melanin. Flat, dark areas that differ from other areas of your face are likely pigmentation - where your skin has produced more melanin than it needs to !

MYTHS DEBUNKED

Myth 1: Once I have treated my pigmentation it wont return
Myth 2: A good scrub will rub it right off
Myth 3: I m 22 and wear sunscreen, I will be ok to tan all day

Facts:
Pigmentation is a natural part of having a face! Unless you live indoors forever you are bound to have a spot or two. Consistency with Retinol are key to pigmentation as is the remainder of your skin routine. Even the youngest and smartest of the crew will get a spot or two. Defense and exposure education will minimise the long term effects of pigmentation.
